At the University of Miami, we will pick up your belongings right from your dorm room. You will need to be present or have a proxy available to give us access to your things.
How will I get my Supply Kit?
Collegeboxes Supply Kits ship to the UPS store on campus via FedEx. When ordering you will enter 1211 Walsh Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33146 as your shipping address.
What is pre-arrival delivery?
Collegeboxes works directly with the University of Miami Housing Office to deliver items to student rooms before they return to campus. When students arrive, their items are already waiting for them, allowing them to get settled in quickly and start enjoying their college experience.
Can I access my belongings while they’re in storage near the University of Miami?
Yes, you can access your belongings during normal business hours, but we require that you let us know three business days in advance so we can get your summer storage items prepared for pick up.
Where are my belongings stored?
Your belongings are stored locally at U-Haul Moving & Storage at 6701 South Dixie Hwy in South Miami. The storage facility is on Ludlam & Us 1, just minutes from the Dadeland North Shopping Center. This central location is ideal for University of Miami student storage.
How far is the storage facility from the University of Miami?
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Dadeland in South Miami is just over 2 miles from the University of Miami. To get there from campus, Head southeast on Stanford Dr toward Ponce de Leon. Turn right at the 3rd cross street onto US-1 S (passing by McDonalds of the left). Turn right onto SW 67th Ave/Ludlam Rd. Turn left onto SW 81st St. Turn left the storage facility is on the left of SW 81st street.
What are the storage facility’s business hours?
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Dadeland is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
