Where is Gannon University?
Gannon University is in Erie, Pennsylvania. While most people associate Pennsylvania with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Erie is the state’s fourth largest city. There is plenty to do in Erie as it is a port city of Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes. Students can spend days exploring around the lake with attractions like Presque State Island Park and learn about its deep history including its role in the War of 1812. If students are looking to explore other nearby cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Ohio, Buffalo, New York, and even Niagara Falls, they easily can because it takes two hours or less to drive to these cities. There is plenty to explore if you’re considering Gannon University and planning on being in Erie for a few years.
