The Grand River is the longest river in the state of Michigan, stretching over 252 miles from its source in Hillsdale County to its mouth at Lake Michigan in Grand Haven.

Tom Izzo has been the head coach of the Michigan State men’s basketball team since 1995 and is one of the most successful coaches in the history of college basketball. He has also been named the National Coach of the Year three times (in 1998, 2001, and 2012) and has been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Izzo is known for his intense coaching style and his ability to develop players. He has produced numerous NBA players, including Draymond Green, Zach Randolph, and Denzel Valentine. He is also known for his commitment to his players both on and off the court, and he has a reputation for being a mentor and father figure to many of his players.
