Collegeboxes makes it easy for students and their parents to sign up for our service, receive important information about their move and manage their account. Sign up takes just a few minutes. At sign up, the student can purchase our signature supply kit for $39.99, which we will ship directly to the student. back to top
Purchase our signature supply kit during the signup process. The price is $39.99 (plus tax) and we ship it to the student for free. Each supply kit includes the following:
5 extra strong double-walled boxes (24”x18”x16”, 4.0 cubic feet)

Students can choose from one of several free scheduled pickup dates and times that are scheduled around the school’s academic calendar. Delivery times are selected the same way. Students also have the option to customize the time and date of their pickup or delivery for an additional fee. back to top
On the selected pickup date, collegeboxes.com goes right to the student’s door to collect their items. We’ll accept everything a typical student has in their dorm room for storage, including boxes, most types of furniture, plastic totes and bikes. Boxes, suitcases, duffel bags, poster tubes and locked trunks are accepted for shipping.
During pickup, we check that items have been securely taped and properly labeled before scanning each item and loading them into our truck. Items are then transported to our nearby climate-controlled storage facility. Once there, items labeled for shipping are handed off to UPS or FedEx; items labeled for storage are scanned to a storage location and secured until delivery. back to top
On the selected delivery date, collegeboxes.com loads and transports stored items directly to the student’s door. Once the student has signed the delivery report indicating a successful delivery, their items are scanned as delivered and the service is completed. Through their online account, students can verify that everything they had stored has been returned, and they can view/print an account statement detailing all costs. back to top
Collegeboxes.com customers receive helpful e-mails and text messages to guide them through the entire process. We inform customers how to purchase additional packing supplies and provide packing tips to help secure their belongings. We also remind customers if they are missing any important information. This helps to ensure that everything is properly prepared and that Collegeboxes has the information it needs to provide problem-free service. back to top
Collegeboxes.com utilizes a bar-code scanning system to track each item from pickup, to storage, to final delivery. Students are able to track the progress of their items in real-time through their online account. In the event the student has a change of plans and has to retrieve their items early, our bar-code tracking system ensures that we can quickly locate and retrieve the student’s items from storage. Once retrieved, the student can choose to have their items delivered to school, shipped via UPS, or held for pickup at a nearby storage facility. back to top
At any time, students can have their stored items shipped to another address via UPS or FedEx. The customer simply logs in to their account, enters the shipping destination, box dimensions and desired insured value, and is immediately notified of the cost of shipping. Once accepted by the customer, a tracking number for each package is issued so that they can monitor the progress of their shipment. back to top
Students do not pay for any services, except for purchasing the supply kit, until after their items have been picked up. Upon pickup, each item's unique bar code is scanned. This shows we have taken possession of the student’s items. Once scanned, their credit card is processed for payment. Through their online account, customers can view an itemized account statement detailing all charges. back to top
The following is a price list for our most popular storage items. Collegeboxes.com can store just about anything. We store any boxes, containers and a variety of non-boxed items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, suitcases, skis, etc.
Pricing for storage service is per item per semester/quarter. Free bulk pickup and delivery windows are offered on scheduled dates. Other pickup and delivery dates are charge an additional fee.
Boxes, Luggage, Trunks, & Plastic Storage Items = $45-$60 per item per semester/quarter
Furniture, Appliances and Misc. Items = $35-$75 per item per semester/quarter

Using our Summer or Study Abroad Shipping, students can have their boxes & luggage shipped home (or anywhere world-wide) when leaving school.
Price of shipping is based on the package dimension, weight, destination and insurance amount selected (First $100 of insurance is FREE).
Below are example for local-, medium-, long-distance, and international shipping of our signature Collegebox, with dimension 24"x18"x16" (4.0 cubic feet) with a weight of 45lbs or less from our storage facility to your home.

Collegeboxes.com Ship To School service is the most convenient, flexible, and inexpensive option for transporting your belongings from home to campus. Bring only essential items in your luggage when flying or driving to campus. Everything else, send it to us!
Avoid the hassle of retrieving your packages from the campus mail room and having to carry everything across campus (and up stairs) to your dorm room. Collegeboxes’ Ship To School service includes “At Your Door” delivery to student dorms.
Price of shipping is based on the package dimension, weight, destination and insurance amount selected (First $100 of insurance is FREE). You only pay for the cost of shipping and a $15 per box handling fee, which covers the cost of receiving your packages, temporary storage, and delivery on scheduled dates.
